First of all, thanks to all those who greeted me last October 25. To those who haven't greeted me yet, I won't take it against you, after all, I myself might have forgotten to greet you. There.

I am here in Hong Kong right now, and I am scheduled to fly back to the Philippines later at 9pm. Why did I go to Hong Kong in the first place? Turning 18 means renewing my HKSAR Resident's Permanent Identity Card, and I could only do that here in Jackie Chan land. :)

I arrived here in my dad's apartment around 11pm of the night of my birthday, and I was exhausted.

The next day, October 26, had me... (more)

Houston looks like they are really gunning for the championship. They get Stromile Swift AND Derek Anderson (!!!!) to replace Vin Baker and Clarence Weatherspoon. Wow. So now they've got Yao, Stro, Tmac up front and DA and Bob Sura in the backcourt. Dikembe, Mike James, Jon Barry, Juwan Howard, and Scott Padget of the bench... Now THAT's a deep team.

Other people look at Miami now. Their line-up would consist of Shaq, Haslem, and Walker up front, with Wade and Jason Williams in the back court. Should Damon Jones re-sign with the Heat, he'll be going in along with James Posey, Alonzo... (more)

They say that 12 is a perfect number.

12 apostles of Jesus
12 months in a year
12 eggs in a tray
12 days of Christmas
12 numbers on a clock
12 cylinders in a Lamborghini's engine

and the list goes on.. but one thing about 12 stands out to me at the moment.

12 days na kami ng D ko.

but this 12th day was far from perfect. we were away from each other, and as of now, it'd be 34 hours before we see each other again when i pick her up before our 7am class. just knowing that i'm away from her is like... i don't know.

then again, thank God for Sun Cellular! :D

hehehehehe...

i have been walking around in pain since friday after a freak occurence which saw my knee slammed into TC by a 1980 corona wagon.

i don't want to get into the details.

i am blessed in the sense that i did not sustain any fractures but it would take time for my knee to be completely healed.

that means no jogging.

NO!!!!!

but time will come that i would be able to run again. i would be able to jump again. time will come.
-------------

i gave this blog a facelift. the old colour scheme was dark, according to my CRT-monitor-toting friends. :D

until next update, man i'm sleepy..

God bless... (more)

I hopped onto chona's blog just a few minutes ago and her latest entry is an exerpt from a peyups.com article by carvaggio. I thought of posting the full article here, unmodified.

Here is the source.

So here it goes.

The three words that mean the most aren’t “I love you”, with its history of being an accomplice to lies, with its bad reputation as a myth. What is “I love you” but the easy way out, the secret weapon revealed at the ends of long-drawn battles between desperation and despair? “I love you” is what you say when you run out of valid arguments but decide to keep... No doubt, he's my favourite singer. This song is one of my favourites, and well... Just read the lyrics. ;) Or maybe download the song. It's from the 60s or something so you might not appreciate it. Ah the heck. Read on!

Bobby Darin - Dream Lover

Every night I hope and pray a dream lover will come my way
A girl to hold in my arms and know the magic of her charms
'cause I want a girl to call my own
I want a dream lover so I don't have to dream alone

Dream lover, where are you with a love, oh, so true?
And I hand that can hold, to feel you near as I grow old?
'cause I want a girl to call... (more)

I have this feeling deep inside me that bothers me...

I can't help but try to hide what lies in my thoughts.

Help... Somethings falling.

My heart beats faster

faster

and faster...

There are many things that are falling right now....

the most important thing that is falling is my waistline measurement.

Man I can't stop talking about it hehehe.

And for the other thing that is falling:

My weight! heheheh.

The other thing that you are thinking of has also fallen, actually it just dropped.

My 3310!!! Waaaah! Its LCD now has a crack, and I could now only read the first... (more)

There you were, standing in front of me.
It may have seemed like a dream, but to me it was reality
before it even came to be.

As I close my eyes each passing night, I see you in my mind.
The sweet silence of your voice to me, a sanctuary i did find
more than the whole worled combined.

Alas! There you were again, standing in front of me.
No longer a dream, I'm with you in reality.
I hear your voice, no longer silent,
and time stops slipping away.
Each moment I spend with you
is fulfillment
of what I thought
was mere fantasy.

I lost 15 pounds since june!!! 155 lbs down to 140 lbs

It feels great to be back in my 4th year high school weight, while being 2 inches taller than i was back then. :)

Jogging was the key, and a few diet changes (e.g salads for dinner, no snacks)...

But now i have another problem... I NEED A NEW BELT!!! hehehe.. I havn't had a waistline this small since, uh... 5th grade (31 inches) and I am planning on losing another inch by the end of the year.

My little brother needs to lose weight. He is 9 years old, stands 5 feet flat, and he weighs like 138 lbs. His waistline? Let's say that he has... (more)

Marius:
Had you been there tonight
you might know how it feels
to be struck to the bone
in a moment of breathless delight!
Had you been there tonight
you might also have known
how the world may be changed
in just one burst of light!
And what was right
seems wrong
and what was wrong
seems right...

[red and black] is a great piece to practice your opera voice prowess. The bathroom is a great place to sing because it gives a great echo. :)
